The Debi and Gary Fournier Cervical Cancer Research Fund

Gary Fournier manages in excess of $1 billion in client assets in his role as managing director with JP Morgan in Los Angeles. A supporter of a number of charitable causes, Mr. Fournier has joined with his wife in forming the Debi and Gary Fournier Cervical Cancer Research Fund.

New Cervical Cancer Fund Targets Much-Needed Treatment Research

A managing director at JP Morgan Securities in Los Angeles, Gary Fournier previously held executive positions at companies such as UBS/Payne Webber, Smith Barney, and Kidder Peabody. After his wife contracted cervical cancer, he helped her establish the the Debi & Gary Fournier Cervical Cancer Research Fund at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.

When Debi discovered that reality through the cancer treatment process, she talked to oncologist Dr. Gottfried Konecny about the issue. He recommended she contact the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation. That recommendation ultimately led to the creation of the new research fund.
